Ginny Weasley

Myself as Ginny Weasley from the Harry Potter series at A-Kon 22, June 10-12, 2011. I had a lot of fun with this cosplay. This was my first time being recognized as a character at a convension and I was very starstruck when cosplayers much better than myself were asking me for pictures. The pieces of the costume were all aquired individually. The skirt is from Target, the shoes for JC Pennys, the shirt was left over from my middle school years in band, the wig was actually meant for a completely different cosplay, and the sweater was given to me by my grandmother and required scissors to remove these embelishments from the collar and had to be pushed up my arms to avoid them being an awkward length. The leather journal was actually a gift from my aunt for christmas and the wand was hand carved for me by my very good friend, Jeff.
